A Purcell Celebration

Our final concert of the year is a celebration of the stunning music of Henry Purcell. We first perform highlights of his wonderful church music, including perhaps his finest anthem, My Heart is inditing, composed for the coronation of King James II. Then we are joined by superb soloists to revel in his ground-breaking opera Dido and Aeneas, all accompanied by the authentic instruments of The Purcell Orchestra
